Impressive seas/wind near Bill. He's over 83-85° water right now. # - Bill likely to move by a bit quicker than expected. Should be departing by mid-morning Sunday. Squally weather Cape/Islands Sat. night. #
- Buoy 160 miles WEST of Bill's center: 22 ft. seas, 56 mph wind gust. Very impressive. Nantucket may get clipped with outer bands Sat night. #
- Bill is really looking ragged again. The storm has been a fairly easy one to track, but the intensity forecast has been erratic. #
- After a rough night, it appears that Bill is getting his act together this morning. Some intensification likely today. #
- 11AM Update on Bill: 120 mph Category 3 storm. Not much change in the forecast track. Still borderline for some impact in SNE. #

- New computer model brings Bill closer to SNE on Sunday. If it's right, then there will be some strong winds and rain on the Cape/Islands. #
- Bill now a monster Cat. 4 with 135 mph wind. The storm should turn NE, and right now the prob. of 40+ mph winds here on Sunday is about 25%. #
- From NHC: Reports from a NOAA hurr. hunter plane indicate that Bill has strengthened & max. sustained winds have increased to near 125mph #
- Bill is looking very impressive this evening. I would not be surprised if he goes from Cat. 2 to Cat. 4 within 18 hours. #
- No change in the intensity of Bill since last night (100 mph), but it looks impressive & should be upgraded at 11am http://bit.ly/SHfhV #
- Hurricane Bill most likely to threaten Bermuda. The storm may move just north of the Caribbean as a major hurricane. #
