- Fred hanging on to hurricane strength. Still expected to weaken. Storm off NJ coast is a major wave machine. 15+ seas. 40+ mph gusts too. #
- It's not tropical, but the storm off the Mid-Atl. coast will bring strong winds, rough surf, & heavy rain to Coastal NJ. Shwrs here Fri/Sat. #
- Hurricane Fred has intensified rapidly to 105 mph, but still looks like no threat to land. The storm could become a major hurricane today. #
- Tropical Storm fred waaaayyyy out in the Atlantic. No threat to land. First week of Sep: 3° below normal, not a drop of rain. #
- TS Fred in the far Eastern Atlantic. The storm is strengthening, but it doesn't look like it'll be a major player anytime soon. #
- Tropical Depression 7 forms in the Eastern Atlantic. May become TS Fred soon. No threat to land, forecast is to move slowly east-northeast. #
